 What our Guests Say:

We stayed in The Grooms House and loved it. For two of us staying there was enough room and the equipment was just about right. Access to the seating area by the river and provision of an outside eating/relaxing area added much. Peter and Rosemary were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. A real blessing.

"The whole stay was wonderful and we all thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful house and location."
We hired The Old Rectory and Grooms House for the day/night before my daughter's wedding for some guests and the bridesmaids to stay and get ready for the wedding. It was all so perfect. We had a most wonderful and beautiful stay the day/night before the wedding, the night after the wedding and part of the next day. It was enjoyed by everyone because the Old Rectory was so well equipped, everything was ready for our stay and nothing was too much trouble by Rosemary and Peter. The location was fantastic and the views stunning. What a building with so many bedrooms and little rooms for everyone to be able to relax in. I cannot say anything bad about The Old Rectory all just good words. Fantastic.

This was our first time visiting the Cotswolds, and the cottage was position perfectly. Great base to travel to all the surrounding places. The cottage was absolute beautiful, it had everything we needed and was well decorated and furnished. The owners were so friendly and so helpful. They recommended some lovely places to visit and great places to eat. Will definitely be returning :)

"Where do we begin?
It's been an absolutely brilliant holiday, in every way possible. The Old Rectory delighted and charmed us so! We leave here with heavy hearts and happy memories. Whether relaxing around the house and taking in the stunning views from such a lovely garden, or setting off to explore the gorgeous villages and countryside, we've all been incredibly excited to greet each day during this stay at The Old Rectory. We loved the boat journey up the River Avon. We had a great time chatting, relaxing, taking in the whole atmosphere of life on the river. There's a whole community on that river and we felt like we were a part of something special... we felt like that every day here. This part England is truly magnificent ...'God's Country', and staying at The Old Rectory is what defined our trip as extraordinary. Peter, Rosemary and their 3 lovely children were so incredibly warm, friendly, welcoming and hospitable. It is them as much as the beautiful surroundings that make us definitely want to return again to this gem of a place! Thank you!!"
